Most ethical and sustainable brands go beyond simply selling products like clothing or soap. They are committed to allocating a portion of their profits to support causes, non-profits, or communities that they are passionate about. This means that with each purchase you make, a percentage of the proceeds goes directly towards advancing a mission that they deeply believe in.

Why support brands that give back?
When you support sustainable brands, you’re doing more than just shopping consciously, you’re joining a movement that values purpose over profit. True sustainability goes beyond the products themselves; it’s about the people, the planet & the positive ripple effect that mindful business can create. Brands that give back understand this balance. They recognize that using the earth’s resources comes with a responsibility to protect and restore them. From carbon-neutral shipping and regenerative practices to community initiatives and environmental partnerships, these companies lead with heart and integrity. Every purchase becomes an act of care… a small but powerful step toward a more thoughtful, sustainable future!

You are so welcome! We love to see brands like this, too!
Great resource!
Thanks!
Such a great, thoughtful post! I can’t wait to check out these brands. Thanks for sharing 😊
Of course! Thank you for reading.
This is such an amazing list. It’s great that we can contribute and make a change in society through our purchases.
Yes, it truly is!
So many lovely brands!
Agreed!!
Is there also a list with brands which donate 100% of their profits? I’m always afraid that many shops donate a small percentage of their profits just for marketing purposes.
Nice question! It is possible and that’s not a "stupid" question as suggested below. That’s not straight forward. For example, a company can start a Foundation and donate 100% of its profits to said Foundation. Now, if/how said Foundation is going to invest, donate and or allocate funds, that’s another story. It is probably v hard work for smaller, independent companies to get to this status. Maybe we have to look at other indicators such as ethos and supply chain.
Thank you for this answer! We deleted the other commenter – definitely wasn’t appropriate.
If a brand wants to donate all its remaining profits after paying its employees and all the other costs associated with a business, they certainly can do so. Just not a sustainable model for most, I’m sure.
Nice blog. Thanks for sharing and I really loved it
So glad you loved it! Thanks for reading!
Bombas?????
Their give back program looks great! However, we think Conscious Step would be a better option for sustainable socks that give back 🙂
