For the last 25 years, Equality Now Org. has been working to advance Legal Equality for women worldwide and has created programs to End Female Genital Mutilation, Sex Trafficking, and Sexual Violence. Through their Adolescent Girls' Legal Defense Fund, Equality Now works with individual cases to make sure young girls are represented and supported. The tees are made in Turkey with GOTS Certified Cotton - organic cotton traced back through all production steps to ensure your garment is fairly made and safe for the environment, workers, and consumers. The pins are also made from GOTS Certified Cotton. Their cashmere-silk blend shawls are made with Canepa's SAVEtheWATER® - a Kitotex® process cutting down the use of water and energy by 90%. Going even beyond using responsible fabrics, all woven labels are made from polyester yarn of 100% recycled PET bottles. Each piece purchased is placed in a 100% organic cotton pouch, tags & packaging envelopes are made from recycled paper, AND the tag's chords are organic cotton. I've been going through an obsession with bandanas lately.
